Welcome to SwipeStage. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the SwipeStage mobile application, website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform"). By accessing or using SwipeStage, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Platform.

1. Overview of Services

SwipeStage is a live music discovery and ticketing platform that allows fans to discover live events and purchase tickets, allows artists and event organizers to list events and sell tickets, provides optional music preview functionality, and processes ticket transactions through secure third-party payment providers. SwipeStage acts as a technology platform and marketplace. We are not the organizer of events listed on the Platform unless explicitly stated.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction) to use SwipeStage. By using the Platform, you represent that you have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Accounts

To access certain features, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate information, maintain the security of your login credentials, and accept responsibility for activity under your account. SwipeStage reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Ticket Purchases

When purchasing tickets through SwipeStage, all sales may be final unless otherwise specified. Refund policies are determined by the event organizer unless SwipeStage explicitly states otherwise. Prices, availability, and event details are set by the artist or organizer. SwipeStage is not responsible for event cancellations, schedule changes, or venue-related issues. In the event of cancellation, refund processing will follow the organizer's stated policy.

5. Artist Listings

Artists and organizers who list events on SwipeStage agree that they have the legal right to host and promote the event, all event information is accurate, and they will honor valid ticket purchases. SwipeStage may remove listings that violate laws or community standards.

6. Fees

SwipeStage charges a platform fee (e.g., 5%) on ticket transactions processed through the Platform. Artists agree to these fees when listing events. Fees may change with notice prior to new listings.

7. Payments and Payouts

Payments are processed through secure third-party providers. Artists agree to provide accurate payout information, comply with applicable tax laws, and accept payout timelines as stated in the Artist Dashboard. SwipeStage is not responsible for delays caused by payment processors or banking institutions.

8. Music Previews & Content

Artists may upload music previews and promotional content. By uploading content, you grant SwipeStage a non-exclusive license to display, stream (preview format only), and promote your event within the Platform. You represent that you own or have permission to use all uploaded content. SwipeStage may remove content that infringes intellectual property rights, is unlawful or harmful, or violates community guidelines.

9. Prohibited Conduct

Users may not use SwipeStage for illegal activities, attempt to reverse engineer or hack the Platform, create fake events or fraudulent listings, circumvent ticketing systems, or upload infringing content. Violations may result in suspension or legal action.

10. Event Liability

SwipeStage is a marketplace platform and is not responsible for event quality, artist performance, venue safety, or injuries or damages occurring at events. Attending events is at your own risk.

11. Cancellations & Refunds

Refund policies are determined by the event organizer unless otherwise stated. SwipeStage may assist with disputes but does not guarantee refunds unless legally required.

12. Termination

SwipeStage may suspend or terminate accounts at its discretion if users violate these Terms. Users may delete their accounts at any time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SwipeStage shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, ticket purchases, event participation, or payment processing issues.
